Ever took the time to be silent? To stop talking, thinking and simply just take in all that’s around you. You’ll find that nature screams at you, begging to be heard by all the pedestrians who trek on, tuned in to nothing else than their headphones, their problems and their struggles. You’d find so many details about the environment that you didn’t even notice.

The world suddenly becomes so large, and the space you fill seems like a grain of sand on the seashore.

How many of us take the time to be silent? The mere example of how humans sleep proves how important silence is to us, and to think that sleep is the first thing knocked out when our schedules get busy. We need to take the time to simply be silent; enjoy the moment, feel the sensations of what you’re body has been telling you, forget the headphones and timetables and routines and just sit… relax…

After all, how can you hear His still small voice if you’re not silent? So, take a breath, deeply, then exhale…. good! Now continue on for a couple minutes more… You like that? I thought so… it’s great isn’t it?

You can’t listen if you’re not silent… both to yourself and to others. So, shut up for once! Love you guys 😀
