I know I’ve only been posting poems lately, and I do apologize for the lack of variety… But I do believe that you all seem to be liking them, so one more can’t hurt, right? So here’s another, entitled “Beautiful Soul”. Hope you like it!

What makes a beautiful soul

Except the love of God that makes us whole

What makes it shine with lustre

But the sacrifice of its own alabaster

It’s the Love of a Saviour

That gives it that flavour

The salt and light to make it a sight to savour

Varnished in a coat of life

That brings about a new hope in life…

What makes you beautiful is not what’s outside

But the heart within where He abides

What makes you wonderful is not a charming smile

But a desire to live as His obedient child…

As such a child your duty is to listen

To lend an ear to His great commission

Don’t be swayed by the worldly system

But trust in His Word and His provision

God has called you to the place where you are

For His work and His glory

For a divine call and ministry

So don’t fret or worry

We could do all things through Christ

So worry not about your life

Dry those eyes cause God provides

Seek Him first and the blessings will override

All that the enemy steals, kills and destroys

He might play you but you’re not a toy…

He just wants to be real to you

To be above what you think He can do

To flow through you like a sweet precious fountain,

And do more than you can ask, think or imagine…

I just wanted to let you know

No matter what they say, you have a beautiful soul.

A love has formed a special warmth

Kindled by the fire of heavenly coals

I’d love to see what becomes of it,

When true power gets a hold.

You are treasured, like diamonds encased in a ring of gold

And it’s because of your beautiful soul…

Keep smiling; I like it when u do that 🙂
